WASHINGTON – The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) awarded $2,622,082.00 million to Block MEMS, LLC, to develop technology that can detect vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices (VBIEDs) before they enter stadiums, office building parking structures, and other “soft targets.” The funding was awarded through S&T’s Long-Range Broad Agency Announcement (LRBAA) process.
