What technologies or studies are available related to wearable diagnostic devices that could measure viral and/or bacterial infections?

USAMMDA submitted a technical inquiry asking for a summary of wearable diagnostic devices that could measure viral and/or bacterial infections. HDIAC was also able to identify and use current studies designed for the detection of COVID-19 through the use of wearable symptom monitoring devices. Analysts identified the key differences between wearable symptom monitoring devices and implantable biomarker monitoring devices for disease diagnostics. Three promising projects for wearable disease detection devices were found and provided to the requestor.
