Phillip M. Mach received his Ph.D. from the University of North Texas developing highly sensitive portable vapor mass spectrometers. He has deployed prototype systems in the Antarctic harsh environment and has been featured on the Discovery Channel. Mach has written more than 15 peer-reviewed articles, a book chapter on environmental forensics, and has been awarded three patents. His research interests include charge transfer dissociation and top-down proteomics.
