Ms. Danielle Julian, M.S., is a Senior Research Scientist at AdventHealth’s Nicholson Center. Her current research focuses on robotic surgery simulation and effective surgeon training. Her current projects include intelligent tutoring systems, rapid prototyping of surgical education devices, and the evaluation of robotic simulation systems. She is a certified instructor for surgical robotics courses delivered to surgeons and OR staff members. Her background includes research in Human Factors and learning and training to enhance the higher-order cognitive skills of military personnel. She is currently a Ph.D. student in Modeling and Simulation at the University of Central Florida where she previously earned an M.S. in Modeling and Simulation, Graduate Simulation Certificate in Instructional Design, and a B.S. in Psychology.
