Moshan Kahandawala is a U.S. Department of Defense Information Analysis Center (DoDIAC) subject matter expert within the DoDIAC University of Dayton Research Institute (UDRI) team. As a team member and senior research engineer, he leads the UDRI Kinetics and Process Engineering group, which conducts fundamental and applied research in environmental and green energy technologies. To support efforts to move away from fossil fuel use, he and his group work across other UDRI groups and divisions to enhance and utilize processes existing in nature to generate energy in an economical manner with the least impact on the environment. Dr. Kahandawala has a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering.
