Kyle Nelson is a meteorologist and emergency management professional with a specialty for blending weather, social media, and public safety in operations and through education. He is a Consultant/Instructor with Epicenter Media & Training, as well as a Digital Media and Weather Decision Support Specialist with Epicenter's Deployment Support Unit (EDSU). In addition to amateur and public safety radio communications, Kyle marries his passions as a as a Weather/Climate and Social Media Educator with FEMA’s National Disaster Preparedness Training Center and also in his role as a Professional Ski Patroller in Aspen, Colorado,
where he serves as an emergency medical technician, Mountain Weather Forecaster, Technical Rescue Coordinator, amateur radio operator, and Ski Patrol Coordinator for major planned events.
