Jim Wright is a professor of public health in the Department of Pathobiology at the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine since 1985 (DVM, University of Georgia; B.S., Virginia Tech). He was in private veterinary practice in Virginia for two years and then entered graduate school at the University of Missouri, Columbia, where he received an M.S. and Ph.D. in microbiology.
