Alec Engell

Mr. Alec Engell is a Technical Director at NextGen Federal Systems. He is a team lead for developing AI/ML models, datasets, and applications using Agile development methodologies. His focus is on environmental modeling including terrestrial and space weather. Mr. Engell is a lead technical writer for multiple awarded efforts including BAAs, OTAs, SBIRs, and NASA ROSES grants. Mr. Engell supports customers including the Defense Innovation Unit, US Air Force, US Space Force, US Navy, NASA, and NOAA. At NextGen, he supports business development, executes company strategies, and engages with end users, subject matter experts, and stakeholders during technology development.
