Ahmet Emre is a Ph.D. candidate in Biomedical Engineering under the guidance of Professor Nicholas Kotov at the University of Michigan. Prior to starting his graduate studies, he worked at Harvard-MIT Division of Health Science Technology as a research associate specialized in biomaterials and cell printing for tissue engineering. His current research focuses on fabrication, characterization and optimization of bioinspired polymer nanocomposites for energy storage applications. His work has been recently recognized by American Chemical Society and has been selected for Excellence in Graduate Polymer Research in 2019.
