IAEM-USA Region 2 and Paul Smith’s College present the 2025 Emergency Management Educational Conference, “Wicked Problems in Emergency Management.” The conference will run three days: July 23-25, 2025. IAEM-USA Region 2 is excited to announce a regional conference that will analyze “Wicked Problems” emergency managers face every day. Some examples could include:

  • Sports and Special Events Management (FocusTrack)
  • Changing Organization Culture/Mental Health
  • Climate Change Impacts
  • Cascading Effects of Aging Infrastructure
  • Doing More With Less (Federal Funding)
  • Migrant Sheltering and Other Unconventional EM Situations
  • Integration of A.I.
