The Homeland Defense and Security Information Analysis Center (HDIAC) is seeking information on what commercial/government-off-the-shelf unmanned aerial systems are available for specific activities to support first responders on a military base. The drones need to be preprogrammed to patrol a predesignated path and assist with surveillance/first responder applications over a 5G network. The goal is to support beyond visual line-of-sight operations. The primary interest is in drone platforms that can perform the following functions:
- Detect intrusion operations
- Identify real-time issues (e.g., trespassers, fires, and medical emergencies)
- Integrate with tactical assault kit/team awareness kit for command and control
These platforms should be ready for immediate acquisition and at technology readiness level 9. If you have any information to support this request, please provide contact information and details in the form here or e-mail Daniel Fleming (daniel.p.fleming8.ctr@mail.mil), the lead HDIAC analyst for this effort.
