The Homeland Defense and Security Information Analysis Center (HDIAC) is seeking information on current mitigation capabilities and procedures for radiological contamination. Of particular interest are optimal procedures used to decontaminate 10-20 personnel and/or equipment when externally contaminated with radiological material; however, any information on current field-level wet and dry decontamination processes is also of interest. Key details could include efficacy, process time, limitations, costs, prestage considerations, and disposal waste challenges. Processes without a separate decontamination unit/team are preferred.
