Future Army Medics Will Lean Hard on New Tech to Help Mass Casualties

In the future fight, medics on the ground will need advanced equipment to help manage mass casualties that could arise from a strike from an adversary. The Army is answering this challenge by developing solutions to provide cloud-based systems to transmit and store medical data. In addition, it is expected that sensors will be ubiquitous on the future battlefield and that this could provide real-time data to commanders. Potentially, a medic on the ground could be walked through a complicated, life-saving procedure by someone from a remote location.
