Robert Wagner

US&R Training Instructor

Mr. Wagner’s primary area of interest and research is in emergency response to a domestic nuclear detonation, particularly in the context of urban search and rescue. He is currently examining both the 1986 Chernobyl accident and 2020 Beirut explosion, hoping to glean some
lessons learned. Robert is also in the planning stages of authoring a book on “Mighty Derringer,” a nuclear detonation exercise that occurred in Indianapolis in 1986. His future plans include refining a survivability profile for victims trapped in collapsed buildings after a nuclear detonation.
