John Wen, Ph.D.

Dr. John Wen was with Fisher Controls from 1981-1983, Jet Propulsion Laboratory from 1985-1988, and has since been the Head of Electrical, Computer, and Systems Engineering with RPI. He was the Director for the Center for Automation Technologies and Systems from 2005-2013, Head of Industrial & Systems Engineering from 2013-2018, ASEE/NASA Summer Faculty Fellow in 1993, Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Senior Visiting Scientist in 1997, and Oversea Assessor of the Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2004-2009. He was awarded the IEEE Control Systems Society Transition to Practice Award in 2013, and has been an IEEE Fellow since 2001.
