Damon L. Woodard received his B.S. in computer science and computer information systems from Tulane University in 1997, his M.E. in computer science and engineering from Pennsylvania State University in 1997, and his Ph.D. in computer science and engineering from the University of Notre Dame in 2005. He is also a member of the Florida Institute for Cybersecurity Research. His research interests include biometrics, machine learning, pattern recognition, natural language processing, and signal/image analysis. He is an IEEE Senior Member, ACM Senior Member, and National Academy of Science Kavli Frontier Fellow. He currently serves as the Vice President of Finances for the IEEE Biometrics Council and he is a Program Chair for the 10th IEEE International Conference on Biometrics: Technology, Applications, and Systems (BTAS 2019).
