Hen-Wei Huang is currently pursuing his Ph.D. degree in the Multi-Scale Robotics Laboratory, ETH Zürich. He received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from National Taiwan University in 2011 and 2012, respectively, with a minor in chemical engineering and geography during the period of bachelor’s degree. His research interests include wireless sensor network and embedded systems for biomedical applications as well as soft robotics and micro-robotics in minimally invasive medicines. He is a member of IEEE, ASME, APS and AAAS. He is also a recipient of the Outstanding Creativity Performance Scholarship of the CTCI Foundation as well as the Taiwan MOE Technologies Incubation Scholarship.
