This webinar addresses the threat posed by rising levels of antibiotic resistance across the globe and explores means of predicting pathogenic resistance in order to limit or preempt its effects. Presented by Dr. Yousif Shamoo, Vice Provost for Research and Professor of Biosciences at Rice University, the webinar examines an approach that combines biophysics, genomics, and experimental evolution to identify and characterize successful evolutionary trajectories, and then link those intermediates to the overall evolutionary trajectory of bacterial populations.
