The Homeland Defense and Security Information Analysis Center (HDIAC) is seeking information and points of contact working with multisensory cueing (visual, haptic, and audio) for military aircraft. Currently, aviators are required to communicate, navigate, and aviate simultaneously for long periods of time.  Because of this, information provided through one modality may not be perceived by the aviator. HDIAC is interested in information on what current combination of redundant cues are being used within military aviation (i.e., auditory and visual; auditory and tactical; visual and tactical; and auditory, visual, and tactical) and which cues should be provided at what times.
