CCDC Army Research Laboratory (ARL)
Rongzhong Jiang is a senior research scientist at ARL responsible for developing innovative materials and technologies for fuel cells and electrochemical devices. His research experience includes hydrogen/air fuel cells, direct alcohol fuel cells, modeling and evaluating fuel cell stacks, electrocatalysis, and kinetics. He has authored 105 publications, including 4 book chapters, 66 refereed journal articles, 24 symposium publications, and 11 government publications. In addition, he has received nine U.S. patents, two Army Research and Development (R&D) awards, one Best Paper award from an Army science conference, and four ARL Directors’ Research Initiative (DRI) awards. Dr. Jiang obtained his Ph.D. in chemistry at Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, followed by post-docs at California Institute of Technology (Caltech) and Lawrence Berkley National Laboratory.
