Lauren Reinerman-Jones is the Prodigy Lab Director at the UCF Institute for Simulation and Training. She received her Ph.D. in human factors psychology from the University of Cincinnati in 2008. She is the chair of the DoD Human Factors and Ergonomics Technical Advisory Group Trust in Autonomy Sub-TAG, and a recipient of the Admiral Leland S. Kollmorgen Spirit of Innovation Award for Augmented Cognition. Her research centers on interdisciplinary collaborations using physiological measures for resilience, human-robot interaction, decision making, socio-cultural team dynamics, automation, virtual to live environment comparisons, and the assessment of emotional and cognitive states.
