The American Rock Mechanics Association (ARMA) invites you to its 55th U.S. Rock Mechanics/Geomechanics Symposium. The 2021 program will focus on technical advances and innovative applied research in rock mechanics and geomechanics.
Due to the uncertainties caused by the pandemic, the in-person symposium scheduled for Houston, Texas, will be replaced by an online virtual symposium on 18-25 June 2021. ARMA reached this decision reluctantly after reviewing various international travel restrictions and projections for pandemic conditions in that region of the country. We want to assure the health and safety of all of our friends and colleagues.
The virtual symposium will allow full presentations of accepted papers, as well as posters, exhibits, and social meetings. Symposium participants will be required to register for considerably less than an in-person meeting. All accepted papers will be published in proceedings and posted on the OnePetro library.
The technical program and other details will be posted on this website as they become available.
