HDIAC Introduction
The Homeland Defense and Security Information Analysis Center (HDIAC) is a Department of Defense (DoD) sponsored organization through the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC).
HDIAC´s mission is to utilize expertise and knowledge from government agencies, research institutions, laboratories, industry and academia on topics relevant to the DoD and other government entities to solve the government´s toughest scientific and technical problems. HDIAC covers topics in the following focus areas: Alternative Energy, Biometrics, Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Defense, Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP), Cultural Studies, Homeland Defense & Security, Medical and Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD).
HDIAC has a variety of services and products, including technical inquiries, Core Analysis Tasks (CAT), SME Network, Original Content, and the HDIAC Journal. HDIAC introduces a new product, Tech Talks, which are short presentations about topics relevant to HDIAC focus areas.
